I would like to network a B-D HP Consort 32 workstation with a Compaq
Deskpro XL 560. The Compaq has an "Embedded-Integrated NetFlex
ENET/PCI Controller (Ethernet)" as part of the (Pentium) motherboard,
and I am running the Cameleon TCP/IP software package (version 4.0)
for MS-Windows. The Consort 32 uses B-D's standard FACSnet software. I
have tried just about every permutation of switches and settings I can
think of on both ends, and the computers still do not communicate with
each other. I have verified that the RG-58 thin coax is conducting
electricity between the two computers. If there is someone on the
flownet who has worked with this configuration or who can suggest
something I have not tried, I would very much appreciate the help. At
this point, I may be too close to the forest to see the trees ...
Thanks in advance,
