Dear Flowers, Does anyone have good scatter profiles and protocols for
doing murine bone marrow for phenotyping transgenic mice and
hematopoeitic precursors? How do people routinely look at the various
populations found in the bone marrow? Any references out there on this
topic? Do you just open up the fwd/ssc scatter gate and include all
the populations, or do you use antibodies and ssc to gate on different
populations. I see lots of papers on populations, but I have not seen
any with the initial gating profiles, not do they describe their
initial gating protocol. I guess I need to look back at more ancient
papers, but I know there are alot of labs out there looking at bone
marrow. So maybe you could point me in the right direction or describe
your routine.
Thanks in advance, Rochelle Diamond Caltech Flow Cytometry/Cell Sorting
