Securing A Flow Cytometer for Ukraine Hospital

I have just received word that the Children's Hospital Medical Center in
Lviv, Ukraine, is in need of a flow cytometer to be used as part of the
children's oncology/hematology/immunology service. The need is apparently
related to the Chernobyl incident with increases in thyroid cancer and
leukemia being particularly noted.

If anyone knows of a flow cytometer that can be donated to this institution,
please let me know. You may either contact me about the details of the
flow unit, or Dr. Wladimir Wertelecki, M.D., (chair of Medical Genetics
at South Alabama) concerning medical questions. His e-mail address is
