Kappa and lambda!
In our hands the BD kappa/CD19 and lambda/CD19 (Fab fragments) works very
well. We avoid doing Fc block of course.

Dear Flow-ers,

This is another basic kind of question ... but as usual I'm sure that I'm
not the only one who has trouble with this.

My staining for kappa/lambda expression is very disappointing - separation
of negative and positive populations is miserable and despite using CD45vSS
to selectively gate lymphoid cells, I still get 2-3% dual positive events
(using color backgating these dual positives appear to be occasional stray
granulocytes/monocytes.)

I'm wondering what the consensus is for clinical samples ie: kappa/lambda
dual labels or do people use kappa/CD19 and Lambda/CD19 (I doubt whether
this is necessary since I use CD45/SS as a primary gating strategy but I
could be wrong!!)

Also what brands of Kappa/Lambda antibodies have people found to be most
successful - I currently use BD.

As always, any suggestions greeted with many thanks.
