There is one company that I highly recommend for antibody conjugation,
if you don't want to spend the time or money for the necessary
equipment and reagents. Chromaprobe has conjugated for us mg
quantities of several antibodies to FITC, PE, and APC. For example,
Malcolm Munn of Chromaprobe has made extremely bright PE- and
APC-anti-NGFR mAb conjugates for us, which we use to monitor retroviral
transduction efficiency.
The prices are very reasonable: FITC $350 (1-10 mg), $400 (up to 20
mg); PE $650 (1-5 mg), $950 (10 mg); APC $800 (6-8 mg). You can reach
