I have a user who's advisor just told her "find a protocol for DNA
analysis of liver cells in fish--we'll be collecting samples the first
week of May". Vindelov and Christensen's procedure (in Darzynkiewicz and
Crissman) seems too easy--does anyone have any caveats? How should they
process samples--freeze a section dry at -70 and needle aspirate in the
lab? Aspirate from fresh and rinse into buffer to freeze? How will they
avoid lots of RBC's? Any warnings will be helpful--we'll be working out
the kinks soon (hopefully!).
