Computers and Analytical: Cytometry software includes Coulter EPICS XL and Elite Software on IBM PC computers.
3. Specialization areas: Our lab has extensive work experience in immunophenotyping of different hemitological processes with special interest in leukemias, stem cells, lymphoproliferative disorders, 8
as well as in th follow up of hemophylic patients with AIDS. It i programmed to set up DNA analysis, intracellular Ca + determination and analysis of apoptosis.

8. Transportation: Local airport is Barcelona International Airport (BCN) with daily connections with major european airports. Train shuttles from/to airport and Central Railway Station (Sants). Barcelona is directly connected by EuroCity to Paris, Gen eva and Milan. The hospital can be reached by bus and underground.
9. Cost of Internships: Depend upon the duration of stay. A base rate of 200$ per week will cover
laboratory costs and flow cytometer time up to 8 hrs. The best time for internship is during winter months.
