Dear Mrs/Sir,
I would like to know if there is any difference (practically) in measuring adhesive
molecules (integrins, VCAM-1, ECAM-1, ICAM-1) by FACS or by ELISA methods.
I know that in the ELISA method the soluble adhesive mol. in the sera are measured, while
by FACS the adhesive mol. on the cell surface are measured.
The question is if it really matters to measure by FACS.
Another question is if the adhesive mol. menthioned can be measured on the surface of T
lymphocytes.
Please answer by the website.
Thanks,
Sincerely,
Dr. Blum A.
